Red Dirt Archery est. 2025
Archery runs deep in our family family roots. It all began with Bill Uhles, my grandfather. Bill was an archery enthusiast and was alive during a period of time when archery Hunting was not legalized in Oklahoma. Bill played a special part of archery history in our state and had one of the first bow shops in the state after archery hunting was legalized. Located in Sulphur, B and L archery shop helped supply hunters with their bow hunting needs. After a number of years of running the shop, Bill retired due to health reasons, but still enjoyed the outdoors. He instilled that love of outdoors in his son David Uhles, my dad, and myself, Bradley Uhles. Archery has always had a place in my soul but in the last few years it has really become who I am. I was introduced to ASA tournaments. I fell in love with the competition and fun this sport has to offer. So much it has become one of my passions that I like to share with others. This inspired me to become an archery coach and open an archery pro shop. Hence Red Dirt Archery was born.

Hey everybody. My name is Brad Uhles. The outdoors is my life. I love all of it. Especially hunting and fishing. My love for the outdoors began at a young age. I remember my dad taking me hunting at an early age. I would play with Tonka trucks while we hunted. Years of hunting later, I remember getting involved with church youth group and our youth pastor would get the youth boys together and take us duck hunting. I was hooked. This love lead me to begin my pride and joy, Red Dirt Waterfowl guide service. I started this business in 2012 with my sister Julie Uhles. Waterfowl hunting is just a part of who we are. All country boys eventually grow up and want to settle down. Well, among running a business and working full time I knew I was ready to find someone. By God's plan I met my wife Kacee Uhles, She jumped into the outdoor life and has been by my side through out the ups and downs of life. We got married in 2016 just living life and loving the outdoors. Just like Bill and my dad shared the love of outdoors to me, I knew I would share the love of outdoors to my kid. Well, in 2022 my wife and I had a son, Hunter, and guess what? He loves the outdoors now too. Around this time I became an archery coach for junior high and highschool. I began coaching at archery at Maysville Public Schools in 2022 where the program has become very successful. I researched and found ASA tournaments. Kacee and I began going to ASA archery tournaments in 2024. By 2025 we were hooked. We fell in love with competing and love the sport of archery. Alongside our waterfowl hunting journey, archery has become a part of who we are. We decided to open Red Dirt Archery Pro Shop and Shooting Academy with our Red Dirt Waterfowl Guide Service and Taxidermy. We want to help support hunters and shooters of all types and hope to share our love of outdoors with others.
